Indian stock markets staged a remarkable recovery on Tuesday, bouncing back sharply after Monday’s steep fall—its worst in 10 months. The BSE Sensex surged 1,089.18 points (1.49%) to close at 74,227.08, with 29 components closing in the green. Intraday, it soared by 1,721.49 points (2.35%), touching 74,859.39. Meanwhile, the NSE Nifty advanced 374.25 points (1.69%) to 22,535.85, breaking a three-day losing streak. It hit an intraday high of 22,697.20, gaining 535.6 points (2.41%).
