Nifty 50 jumps over 300 points, Sensex returns to 80,000 as markets extend rally

The Nifty closed above the 24,200 level. The benchmark has fallen 10% from the record high level of 26,277 that it had made on September 27 this year. The Sensex also surged by 993 points, breaking past the 80,110 points mark.
