HUL board approves plan to demerge ice cream business into separate listed entity

The demerger decision follows Unilever’s move to separate its global ice cream business and subsequent evaluations by an independent committee of HUL directors, which ended in the announcement of the separation in October, 2024. Shares of Hindustan Unilever Ltd ended at ₹2,483.15, up by ₹37.75, or 1.54%, on the BSE.
