Bitcoin has more than doubled in value this year, from $42,500 in January to above $90,000 now. Each Bitcoin was worth a dollar in 2011, which became $300 in 2014. It was less than $17,000 in December 2022. While there are still questions to be answered on its future, Bitcoin has survived too long to be a fad that many billionaires believed it to be.
