Apollo Hospitals to invest ₹250 crore in India’s first Proteus One proton therapy system

The new facility will be located in Hyderabad and is expected to be operational by FY2028. Proton therapy is used for complex cancers, including central nervous system, head and neck tumours, paediatric, and urological cancers. Shares of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd ended at ₹6,183.45, up by ₹6.30, or 0.10%, on the BSE.
