In a significant ruling, the Supreme Court held that a husband can be jointly and severally liable for his wife’s stock market debt based on an oral agreement.

The results came after the close of the market hours. Shares of MOIL Ltd ended at ₹301.55, down by ₹9.60 or 3.09% on the BSE.

Shares of BEML Ltd ended at ₹2,941.25, down by ₹145.10, or 4.70% on the BSE.

The trend remains weak; however, after a meaningful correction, the proximity to the falling wedge support could provide a reason for recovery, analysts say.

Shares of Ramco Systems Ltd ended at ₹337.00, down by ₹14.45, or 4.11% on the BSE.

Shares of Jupiter Wagons Ltd ended at ₹318.05, down by ₹15.80, or 4.73%, on the BSE.

Personal income tax collections led the surge, growing 21% to approximately ₹9.48 lakh crore. Meanwhile, net corporate tax revenue increased by more than 6% to over ₹7.78 lakh crore in the period between April 1, 2024, and February 10, 2025.

Shares of Steel Authority of India Ltd ended at ₹100.15, down by ₹4.95 or 4.71% on the BSE.

The court on February 10 further said that despite clear directions in an order passed on February 3, the CBI failed to produce the crime files for its perusal. It said after passing the order, the CBI had sufficient time to examine it and challenge the same, if they desired.

Shares of AstraZeneca Pharma India Ltd closed at ₹7,450 on the BSE, down 1.29% ahead of the earnings announcement.
